Lesson 3 of 5

Make your profile stand out

Small things that make employers choose you over others.

3 min +10 points

Add a clear photo

A simple photo of your face, in good light, with a plain background. Smile a little. No sunglasses, no group photos.

List your real skills

Write the actual things you can do, not just your job title. A cook might add: "tandoor, Chinese, South Indian breakfast". A driver might add: "city and highway, automatic cars, knows Bengaluru roads".

Show your experience

Add each job you have done, with the place and how long. Even short or informal work counts, like helping in a family shop.

Upload documents

Adding certificates, a driving licence or an experience letter helps employers trust you faster. You decide who can see them.

Keep it up to date

When you learn something new or change jobs, update your profile the same day. Finish IndicJobs Academy courses: each badge shows on your CV.
